Halon bank the Netherlands relocated to BTC

Since the start of the Dutch Halon bank in the late eighties, a huge quantity of ozone depleting substances has been collected and destroyed or reprocessed. This action, following the UN Montreal Protocol, has been very successful.    In recent years, the focus has shifted from collection and destruction to cleaning and certification for re-use in aviation and military applications. Hugen RCDH, the owner of the Dutch Halon bank is executing this extremely complicated cleaning process and decided to outsource the logistic activities to a specialized party.

After an extensive selection process, this contract was awarded to BTC. To facilitate the storage of these specialty gases in accordance with international legislation and the specific demands of the Halon Bank customers, a complete new PGS storage facility was added to our Eygelshoven site in June 2016.
